AVANTGARDISTA at the Roses & Love Ball

The Roses & Love Ball at the Deutsches Theater München is a celebration of love, diversity, and togetherness. A charity ball for people who celebrate life and want to make a positive impact.

Here, glamour and warmth meet, classical ball culture and modern lifestyles, artists, personalities from the LGBTQIA+ community, people from fashion, culture, and business – without labels and on equal footing. The net proceeds support social Munich heart projects, including the Ambulantes Kinderhospiz München – AKM Foundation and the Münchner Regenbogen-Stiftung.

Fashion with Heart and Attitude

AVANTGARDISTA is an important part of the Roses & Love Ball. With our fashion show, we bring avant-garde, couture, latex, leather, fantasy, and creative freedom to the ballroom.

International and independent designers meet models with very different personalities, bodies, styles, and stories. Hair and make-up artists, choreographers, photographers, artists, and performers transform individual looks into a shared experience.

It is precisely this diversity that we love. Because for us, it’s not about conforming to a classical ideal of beauty. It’s about charisma, individuality, and the courage to be seen.

When the music starts, our models conquer the ballroom, and the audience suddenly becomes part of this special world, a moment is created that cannot be planned – it can only be felt.

For us, the most beautiful moment is afterward: the excitement on people’s faces, the sparkling eyes of our models, the joy of the designers, and the audience still talking about the show long after. Then we know why we do all this.

The Roses & Love Ball and AVANTGARDISTA share a common conviction: Diversity enriches us, creativity connects us, and celebrating together can make a difference.

AVANTGARDISTA Designers at the Roses & Love Ball

Among others, Epic Couture, Benno von Stein, Fernando Berlin, Fleurinna Wings, Chronomatic Latex, Miss Diffy, Lorand Lajos and LEQLÉ presented themselves on the runway. Together, they showcased the full spectrum of AVANTGARDISTA – from artistic latex couture and leather design to extravagant accessories, imaginative wings, and opulent event fashion.

Our host and singer Nina de Lianin was exclusively outfitted by Danny Deluxe for her performance. The extravagant latex couture underscored her unique stage presence and made her look another highlight of the evening.

What the Press Wrote

The press also picked up on the special visual power of AVANTGARDISTA at the Roses & Love Ball. The Abendzeitung described a world of angel wings, feathers, latex, leather, gothic, drag, and opulent costumes – lived diversity in all its facets.

The BILD described the AVANTGARDISTA fashion show as one of the highlights of the ball. Around 50 models presented the creations of eight designers in the middle of the ballroom. Although the individual labels were not fully named in the articles, the images and descriptions clearly show how strongly the designers shaped the evening’s appearance.
