How AVANTGARDISTA Made It to the CSD Main Stage
Diversity, freedom, and visibility have always been part of the AVANTGARDISTA identity. We are open, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and convinced that fashion can connect people and make a difference. At the Roses & Love Ball, we also create a stage for different lifestyles, creative personalities, and a community that doesn’t just accept diversity, but celebrates it.
The fact that AVANTGARDISTA became part of CSD Munich in 2026 began with a special request: CSD organizer Alex Kluge asked Christian Eberle if he would like to support the organization of the main stage.
Christian has decades of experience in planning and implementing large-scale events. He knows how to bring artists, technology, processes, and people together so that everything works in the end. That’s why he was happy to agree, passing on his experience, coordinating organizational processes, briefing the technicians, and helping out wherever support was needed.
And as is often the case with us, a new idea immediately emerged from a great collaboration: Why not bring AVANTGARDISTA to the main stage of the CSD?
So we got our own show slot on Saturday evening – right in the middle of Odeonsplatz, in front of a large audience and at a sporty 95 degrees. But heat or no heat: our models, designers, and performers made the stage shine.
Joining us were Lorand Lajos, Miss Diffy, Fleurinna Wings, Bel Juttner, as well as various drag artists and performers. Lorand Lajos additionally supported us with contacts in the community and his performance experience. A special highlight was Pasta Parisa, who celebrated the premiere of her new hit on the CSD main stage.
In the glowing evening sun, fashion, music, performance, and community became a shared moment full of energy. The audience celebrated our show – and we celebrated with them. It was loud, colorful, emotional, and exactly what AVANTGARDISTA stands for: fashion without borders, creative freedom, and visibility for people who have a story to tell.
We are very grateful to Alex Kluge, the entire CSD team, and everyone involved for their trust and this special opportunity. For all of us, it was quickly clear: This is something that needs to be repeated.
Together, we want to move even more in 2027, make even more talent visible, and show once again how powerful fashion can be when it meets diversity, attitude, and community.
