From the first gut feeling to the finished silhouette – a look at the moment before an idea becomes a garment.
Before the first fabric is cut, a collection exists only as a feeling.
A color that won’t let go. A reference image that sticks with you. A word that suddenly holds everything together. Moodboards are the first step to visualize this vague feeling – long before it takes shape.
From Chaos to Direction
At first glance, a moodboard looks like a random product: color swatches next to newspaper clippings, sketches next to fabric samples, photographs next to handwritten notes. Yet, it is precisely in this apparent disorder that the actual decision emerges – which silhouette, which texture, which attitude this collection will embody.
For our designers, the moodboard is not a byproduct, but the true birthplace of every collection.
Between Intuition and Craft
What remains is condensed: color palettes are reduced, materials combined, initial sketches emerge. A feeling becomes a decision, a decision a silhouette. Here, intuition meets craft – long before any of it becomes a reality on the AVANTGARDISTA 2026 runway.
Unfinished, but Honest
In this section, we deliberately show you this intermediate step – not the polished end result, but the process before it. Crinkled sketches. Discarded color combinations. Notes that may never reappear later.
Work in progress instead of a finished product: raw, unfinished, honest.
