Manuel Hornsteiner, known as manuelFocus, has specialized in people photography over the years: portraits, special projects, moments where it’s less about perfect technique and more about genuine connection. He describes this as his own aspiration – to bring as much life and emotion as possible into an image.
His work thrives on collaboration with the people in front of his camera. Not a stiff photoshoot, but a collaborative project – open to new faces, new ideas, new perspectives.
So, a Munich eye for people meets a stage at AVANTGARDISTA 2026 that is looking for exactly that: real faces instead of staged perfection.
