MmaexX Photography – Photographer at AVANTGARDISTA
Behind the camera for over 20 years – not as a profession, but as a passion. MmaexX Photography (born 1974 in Bavaria, has lived in Munich for 26 years) does not photograph to document. He photographs to raise questions, stimulate fantasies, capture emotions, and preserve moments that would otherwise dissipate into thin air.
Because he doesn’t have to earn money with his art, he has the luxury of capturing only what truly moves him: expressive people, extraordinary situations, aesthetics that linger in memory. For him, every shoot is a small staging.
What drives him? The encounter between human and image, between light and shadow, between the visible and what has not yet been said. For him, every shoot is a dialogue – not a staging, but a shared discovery. He doesn’t search for the perfect pose, but for the moment when everything falls into place: the posture, the light, the expression.

This philosophy shapes his work. He loves people who are not just beautiful, but have something to say – in their eyes, their demeanor, their presence. He loves situations that are out of the ordinary, aesthetics that challenge and inspire. This very attitude makes him a natural part of AVANTGARDISTA: where photography doesn’t just show, but tells.
